As the days begin to grow a little colder, the “Doi-san’s Carpet Exhibition” is back for the season.

In fact, these handwoven carpets are wonderful to have close at hand throughout the year, regardless of the season—both summer and winter. Thanks to the natural qualities of sheep’s wool, they adapt beautifully and serve us in every season.

The Gabbeh rugs selected by Hiroshi Doi are not only of excellent quality, but also surprisingly affordable—little hidden gems at prices that are easy to reach.Alongside the main collection of Gabbeh rugs, we also have tribal rugs and Persian carpets.

“Gabbeh” is a Persian word meaning “a coarse, long-pile rug.”Originally, Gabbeh rugs were essential items in the everyday lives of nomadic people living in southwestern Iran. Hand-spun sheep’s wool is dyed with natural plant dyes, and traditional motifs passed down through generations by word of mouth are carefully woven into each rug.

We hope you’ll find a rug that becomes a favorite part of your home.
